Not everyone walks into a Treaty workshop ready and eager to engage. This session focuses on the reluctant learner β€” those who attend under obligation or with resistance. Together we’ll explore practical strategies to engage them with compassion, creativity, and purpose, without compromising the integrity of the content. test

Best suited for: Facilitators and educators β€” at any stage of experience β€” who encounter reluctant or resistant participants and want to strengthen their skills in creating connection, maintaining focus, and holding space with compassion.
Session outcome:
Participants will:
β€’ Identify common reasons for resistance or disengagement in workshop settings.
β€’ Learn strategies to connect and build trust with reluctant participants.
β€’ Reflect on their own responses to resistance and how to stay grounded in the kaupapa.
